Chrysler Issues Recall For 2008 300’s
Diamler Chrysler has announced that they will be recalling certain models of the 2008 Chrysler 300, 2008 Dodge Charger, and the 2008 Dodge magnum. They stated that the torque retention crimp feature was missed during the manufacturing of one lot of rear axle hub nuts. This could cause the nuts to loosen and allow the halfshaft to disengage from the wheel hub.

2008 Nissan Sentra Recall
Nissan has announced that they will be recalling certain models of the 2007 through 2008 Nissan Sentra. They stated that there is a faulty brake cylinder that may leak. The faulty brake cylinder may lead to a gap that will leak fluid into the brake booster assembly, causing the brake warning light to light up. If the warning light is ignored, one of the brake circuits on the vehicle may not operate as designed, increasing the risk of a crash.

Refrigerator Problems Force Motor Home Recall
Domestic Corporation has announced that they are recalling certain refrigerators used in motor homes and 5th wheel campers. They stated that the refrigerators have a defect that causes pressurized coolant to release. If there is a gas flame present, this could result in a deadly fire.

Subaru to Recall R2 Vehicles
Subaru's Parent company Fuji Heavy Industries, has announced that they will be recalling certain models of the R2, R1 and and other 660cc vehicles manufactured between November 2003 and July 2007 sold in Japan. They stated they have faulty gluing of anti vibration rubber that could cause the engine to cut out. No accident shave been reported as of yet.

Polaris To Recall 2008 550 LX
Polaris Industries has announced that they will be recalling certain models of the 2008 550 LX Trail Touring and Trail Touring Deluxe snowmobiles. They stated that cracks could form in the starter ring gear and cause the ring gear to fracture into several peices. The peices could be propelled out of the chasis at high speed causing serious injury or death to the rider and or bystanders.

Recall Issued For Dodge Journey
Chrysler has announced that they will be recalling certain models of the 2009 Dodge Journey Crossover due to defects in the engine wire harness that may damage electrical circuits. The recall covers vehicles equipped with a 3.5 Liter engine. The engine wire could be chafed by contact with the trans axle mount and create malfunctions of various electrical circuits.

Goodyear Tire Recall
Goodyear and American Pacific Industries have announced that they will be recalling a limited number of tires. Goodyear is recalling 5,300 Dunlop sport 3D tires in size 225/50R17 with DOT number DM40 2TTR, and Dunlop Winter Sport M3 tires in size 275/35R18 with DOT number DMBL 2J8R.

Hyundai Issues Recall Over Labels
Hyundai has announced that they will be recalling certain models of the 2007 and 2008 Santa Fe SUV's. The recall is over a incorrect certification label. The label lists the wrong gross axle weight ratings on vehicles equipped with 18 inch wheels and tires.

2006 TOYOTA SIENNA Recall
Toyota is conducting a safety improvement campaign involving certain models of the 2004-2006 Toyota Sienna vehicles equipped with power rear lift gate struts. The gas struts used to help lift and support the rear power lift gate could wear out sooner than expected. As the gas struts deteriorate, the performance of the lift gate will begin to degrade and the power rear lift gate will operate more slowly than when the gas struts were new.

General Motors (GM) has announced that they will be recalling certain models of the 2007 Buick Lucerne. Certain vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 118, 'Power operated window, partition, and roof panel systems.' Under the standard, the sunroof may only be closed when the ignition is on, or after the ignition is turned off, but before either of the front doors are opened.

2008 VOLVO XC70 Recall
Volvo Cars has stated that they will be recalling certain models of the 2008 Volvo XC70. They stated in certain models, 2 software errors have been found in the supplemental restraint system (SRS) control unit software. This may result in a late deployment of the inflatable curtain (IC) and side impact protection system (SIPS) air bags in certain side impact crash situations. In addition, this software error may also cause the 'SRS airbag - service urgent' message and SRS warning light to illuminate.
