Santander Auto Loan Elibigility How To Qualify For A Santander Auto Loan
In 2010, Santander a bank with Spanish European origin, entered heavily into the U.S. auto loan market by purchasing $3.2 billion of CitiFinancial Auto’s auto loan portfolio. Santander offers two options for people to apply for auto loan.
Option one: Prime and Near Prime credit score customers
Santander offers quick loan approval through several dealerships to car buyers with credit score of 574 – 680, customers with a FICO score between prime and subprime, or a non prime status. The program which offers low fees, attractive APRs and accelerated financing was built with the idea of making it easy for car dealerships to offer quick financing.
To qualify customers must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Credit score of 575 – 680
- Minimum down payment of $500 or trade-in
- No history of reposition
- Must want a new or certified per-owned vehicle
- Maximum loan term of 72 months
- Minimum loan amount of $7,200
- Monthly take home pay of $2,200
- Proof of work including W2s, 1099 and other income, like a disability check
Option two: sub prime credit score customers
In June 2008, Banco Santander’s executive committee authorized the acquisition roadloans.com belonging to the US group Triad Financial Corporation. Through roadloans.com, Sandander approve subprime loans. If you are approved, then you can print out your approval paperwork and bring it to the car dealer to pick up your car.
Roadloans does not do business in TN, MS, HI, AK, NV.
